This page is all about our journey to climbing.

   Here we have Kate (mom) and Andrea ( 7 1/2 ). I will get the name of the location/route later for which these photos 

were taken of. But for right now Kate and Andrea are climbing indoors.

Kate is in the process of building a personal indoor climbing gym in the Big Barn. The dimensions of the "Hive"are 12' x 12' around, but the height and existing barn structure create what I think is an exciting section to the gym. ( photos soon.)

So far we have 9 sheets of plywood up with one 6 foot wide section of  incline. It works well. I have lost count of t-nuts ,so don't even ask. I guess I could count the number of holds, and some stickers.  (photos soon.)

 There have been others who just happened to be over when we were actually working on the wall, they were put to work, all volunteering mind you. Nephew Neil helped a ton too.

 Only Kate and Andrea have been to rock thou. It was our First outdoor climb. Rumney NH. with Sterling Rope and 'The  Rock Barn,   Rumney, NH.'

       The  underlying roof structure.      ...........................................      just another view of it. I will be using the roof  angle. It is 16 feet to the beginning of the roof angle.

Right now 8 feet high by 36 feet with an incline board  (updated photos real soon).
